KANSAS CITY CASINO.

Among the buildings of the iNode! City, in the northeast corner of the Exposition grounds, is the pavilion erected by the municipality of Kansas City, a city that has grown rapidly in the last few years, until now it contains more than one-third as many inhabitants as St. Louis itself. The Casino of Kansas City is a commodious and ornate structure, consisting of wings at the east and west supplemented by loggias, and connected by a court enclosed by double rows of fine columns. Within this court, protected by an awning, is a very elaborate map of Kansas City, surrounded by decorations of living flowers. The eastern wing is devoted to private uses, and in the western wing the city makes the chief display of her resources, her achievements and her rank. Here are many paintings of the interesting scenes of the city and suburbs, accompanied by statistics of her wealth and progress. It is evident from the showing made that if the growth of Kansas City continues for a few decades, the State of Missouri will possess two cities of the first rank.
