See the world's largest lapis lazuli

Plunged in darkness, broken only by a few plays of light, the pavilion hides a real treasure inside: the world's largest Lapis lazuli. At around 18 tonnes, this huge block of lazulite comes from Chile and seems to concentrate all the blue of the world's oceans.


On the ceiling, a gigantic drop of water evokes the theme of the Exhibition. This Alpine country, although far from the sea, has an immense reserve of fresh water, which it tries to make the most of. Documenting this effort, two floors full of varied images: from nature reserves to healing water resorts to energy harnessing.

Children can play with a manually operated water fountain
