To discover the adventures of Prince Albert I in the Azores

Designed by the French architect who remodelled the Louvre Museum in Paris and the Chiado Museum in Lisbon, the lure of the Monaco venue is a three-dimensional film entitled I.O. Invisible Ocean. Six minutes long, and produced with the collaboration of the Principality's Oceanographic Museum (one of the most prestigious in the world), it deals with the importance of plankton, an essential element of marine life.


Designed as a huge open space, the pavilion allows visitors to walk around the two main areas, which portray the relationship of this territory with the sea. The first area displays archive documents, museum pieces, models and audiovisual documents that recall Prince Albert I's cruises to the Azores. Then, in a second part, the public discovers the audiovisual means and new technologies. A giant screen acts as an interactive window allowing visitors to get in touch with Monaco.
